Workshops
Workshops are sessions with 50-100 participants
One or more speakers hold an introductory talk, and a moderator keeps track of the discussion. 

Round-table Discussions
Round-tables are smaller meetings, typically 5-10 people, focusing on a specific topic.
The more intimate setting makes it easier - and more important - for the participants to take part in the discussion.
